Work Schedule

I see clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting at noon and ending at 7 pm. I reserve Mondays for communication and general practice management. I am unavailable on Fridays and weekends.

Intake Process

Before scheduling the first session, I find having a brief phone consultation with new clients helps to ensure we are a good fit. This session is free of charge.

Communication

I use Simple Practice software for a variety of practice management purposes such as the electronic collection of client forms, session notes, and billing.

Clients are asked to refrain from sending sensitive information by email, text, or voicemail as I am unable to guarantee their privacy through these methods.

Emails, texts, and phone messages are attended to on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I do not respond to communication outside those days, on designated holidays, or during my time off.

If a client is in crisis when I am unavailable, they are encouraged to contact the national hotline at 988 or 911 if it is an emergency.

Fees

I currently do not accept insurance. You may choose to submit a receipt for our sessions for reimbursement from your insurance company. If helpful, I can review this process with you by phone before our first session.

I see clients for 50-minute sessions. To account for session notes, I bill for 60-minute sessions at the rate of $145 for individuals, couples, and families. Payment is expected at the time of service and is billed automatically to the card you enter in your electronic file.

I offer a limited number of sliding-scale appointments based on the client’s financial needs. I will be happy to discuss this with you further if you feel this might apply to your situation.

Telehealth

My office is open for in-person sessions. I am also able to schedule telehealth meetings with clients who prefer meeting remotely. Please note, however, that my license prevents me from working with clients who live or travel out of state.
